The former Chertsey MODs have changed their name. They are now the BOSCO MODs named after there favourite saint and former MOD leader St Don John Bosco
This week:
Honoary Mod will now be done each season. The honoary Mod for winter is Peter Riordan, Congats. Good luck to you all for spring summer and autumn (thats fall for any americas out there).
Past Weeks:
12/12/04 Another hard choice this week so i am giving the title honoary MOD to a good friend of mine for a long time who is now safely back with us. Mr Kingfield Cat or KC Kat, as he's become better known is Woking Football clubs mascot. In the latter part of last year, poor old KC got kat-napped and was missing for over two weeks. He was spotted in various areas of the country including the London Eye and on Brighton seafront, and trying to make a dash for it on a train from Waterloo Station. However, he was eventually returned to the Club, unharmed. The Bosco Mods are all very relieved to have KC back again, safe and sound. (A picture of KC can be found at the bottom of this page)
05/12/04 Some of the MODs decided to take a trip to London Town this weekend. They were out on their usual search for vinyl and quality menswear. What you have heard is true the mods were removed form the Sam Walker store room- shame, but Year of the Rat for 50p can never be a bad thing. Honoary mod goes to Football Man who performs amazing tricks in convent garden, he even does requests, bloody brilliant.
28/11/04 Not alot happened this week to be fair. People are getting to hear about the honouary MOD award and trying to impress in all different ways. You just gotta relax and be yourself you cant try and get the award the award comes to you. So this week the honourary mod goes to Peter Riordan again! this week Peter purchased both a Small Faces album and a paisly scarf and we all know thats well worth being honoary mod for a second time. (This will not happen very often but some people are just born to be honoary mods).
21/11/04 It was a hard week to choose honoary MOD thats why i have taken so long deciding. There was many choices due to the wild party at callums maison. After alot of discussion i have come to the decision that Gianfranco Ognibenni is to be this weeks honoary MOD. After downig some vodka the legend stumbled around for the whole night being giving every one he saw a high five. Good on you son! (Other shout outs go to Todd the dog and Christian Liu and Paul Farshione for there need of not only one but two ambulances)
14/11/04 Peter Riordan this weeks honourary MOD. After the MODs and some of their friends had mooned a group of people enjoying a meal at the ASK restaurant Pete took it upon himself to go one step further. He found a small window on the side of Cafe Uno and mooned a couple having a romantic meal. Congratulations Pete!
